Snowdrift - 2

"So... Hi guys..." Jaehwa started. Awkwardly.

The big group had left the airport (after much difficulty getting through the gates and getting back to the bus) and had arrived at the lodge. Now, they were just sitting around the large kitchen and even larger living room. Their bags were still in the bus because they literally just arrived and they either literally crashed on the couch (Heechul, Yunho, Jaejoong, Hangeng, Zhou Mi, Kangin, Kibum, Siwon, and Yesung) or literally raided the kitchen (Changmin, Yoochun, Junsu, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Sungmin, Henry and Ryeowook).

"Where are we going to sleep?" Heechul asked rather loudly.

"Actually, there're plenty of rooms in this place," Yunho replied.

"Really?"

"Last check... 20 bedrooms and 10 baths in total, including the back lodge," Jaejoong answered.

Donghae, who overheard the little conversation and was drinking milk straight from the gallon, choked. "20!?"

"Yea, 20... it's hard when you play hide and seek every once a month," Changmin who was resting against the counter, mumbled in reply.

"Once a month?" Eunhyuk asked.

"Once a month. Unless Miss I'm-so-beast-at-this-game over there is feeling competitive," Yoochun answered simply, pointing at Jaehwa who was back by the window next to Kyuhyun.

"So there's basically a room for each and one of us?"

"Yep."

"Also, each room has different themes. Like Jaehwa's room, the theme is... snow, winter... blizzard... things..."

"You shouldn't call this place a lodge then," Sungmin said, looking up from the meal he was trying to cook up with whatever he found in the pantry and fridge with Ryeowook's help. "It's more like a mansion. Or hotel."

"We stick with lodge because it feels more like home to us," Junsu said.

"So there's really a theme for every room?" Henry, who was sitting on one of the bar stools, asked.

"Well... kinda. Some of them we just leave to one theme. But for the most part, it's all different," Changmin explained.

"We have the 4 main attributes, 5 if you include ice, and from there we just kinda branch out," Junsu continued. "So I guess it won't be hard for you guys to find a room that would suit your preferences."

"It's not just useful when you're playing hide-and-seek," Jaehwa called out. "If certain people like to do certain things in the middle of the night, the rest of us can just move to the other end of the house so we'd all be happy in the morning."

"Guilty," both Yoochun and Junsu said, raising their hands.

"Speaking of which," Ryeowook said, "I was just wondering, who's with who?"

"We have YunJae, me and Su, a single Jaehwa and a lonely Changmin," Yoochun said.

"I am not lonely!" Changmin defended himself.

Junsu shook his head. "How about you guys?"

"We have KangTeuk, HanChul, SiBum, YeWook, KyuMin, EunHae, and ZhouRy," Sungmin replied.

After many more conversations, little stories by the window and finding out that the people who had hit the couch had fallen asleep, they began to move to their respective rooms. There are 10 rooms in each lodge, main and back. Yunho, Jaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu, Jaehwa and Changmin were a;ready living in 6 rooms of the main house, so they divided respectively after going through the rooms. Yesong, Ryeowook, Hangeng and Heechul will be staying with the six, and the rest got the back lodge.

The back lodge itself wasn't just a back lodge. According to Sungmin, it was another mansion just by itself, with working kitchen and all that.

Kyuhyun's and Sungmin's rooms were next to each others, thankfully for them. After unpacking, Kyuhyun had rested on Sungmin's bed, cuddling the smaller male, trying to warm him up.

"Hey Min," Kyuhyun mumbled lazily.

"Hm?"

"I noticed something when I was talking to Jaehwa."

"Which is?"

"I'm just making an assumption here, but I think she's the one controlling the snow. Also, You know how she was wearing a turtle neck, right?"

"Mhm."

"I think, maybe, she's hiding a tattoo."

"What makes you think that?"

"At one point in our conversation, she scratched neck. I saw it then; I think it's a dragon, just about as big as our butterflies. It was curled against the side of her neck."

"And knowing you, you're curious about it, right?" Sungmin smiled, receiving a small nod from Kyuhyun. "Then you can go ask her later. I think Since you two have gotten more one-on-one time more than the rest of us, it should be pretty easy to talk to her. But what makes you think she can control the snowfall?"

"I don't even know myself. I just felt like... I don't know how to explain it, but it's feels like she's my little sister, because if that's the case... if she does control ice... it does make sense."

"I guess I get where you're going with it. Just ask her. So far, judging by the way she handled the airport situation, I think she's going to be a good person to have as a friend. By the way, what did you two talked about?"

"Oh, stuff... the weather here... the weather back home... how she managed to survive living with 5 other men... how she thinks she'll survive with 14 more men..."

"That's it? You always talk about the weather. It's like a standard thing with you, Kyu."

Kyuhyun smiled. "I also talked about you. She knew right off the bat that we're together, don't ask me how she knew. But yeah..."

"Really?"

Kyuhyun nodded with a soft smile, bending down to kiss Sungmin's forehead. "Guess what?"

"What?"

"I love you."

Sungmin smiled, whispering "I love you too" before kissing Kyuhyun's lips.
